Midwives, Doulas or Homebirthers?

Just remember that the whole goal of the birth experiance to to bring a healthy baby into this world. Many women do not have their ideal birth, but it is still a success, becuase they went into labor, and came out of it with an infant! If you didn't like your last home birth, why try it again? I find that what we think we like and want, often is very different than how we actually end up feeling. Can you do something in the middle, like a birth center? They are usually ran by mid-wives but are close to hospitals in case of emergency, and have very homey settings. Usually they are set up for women who want natural births with minimal intervention. Maybe look into that.
